It allows us to view and analyse your retina in greater detail and help us to check for conditions such as glaucoma, diabetes, cataracts, AMD (age related macular degeneration) and high blood preassure . We can identify changes at an earlier stage and monitor them more accurately.

Images can be sent to GP’s or ophthalmology departments of the local hospital, improving communication between healtcare professionals and ease of referal if requried.
